The Central Zone Task Force and Narayanguda police raided a massage parlour at YMCA circle late on Sunday for allegedly organising cross massages.

The police arrested seven persons — G Santhosh, manager and organiser of Splash Beauty Saloon and Spa; Y Srikanth, receptionist; G Lakineni, a High Court advocate and customer; Komal Kumar, a sales manager and a customer; and three teenage women beauticians. They seized cash and mobile phones from them.

According to the police, the beauty salon was started by one Radha Reddy in 2015 on rented premises and engaged women for cross

massages. Already three cases were booked against Reddy between 2015 and 2017. “From the last six months, her son-in-law, Santhosh, a native of Visakhapatnam, took over the business. Santhosh, who is a public services aspirant, could not bag a job in the Union Public Service Commission selection due to a criminal case against him. He had no job and was in financial crisis, therefore he took over the business,” police said.

He attracted customers by offering cross massage. He was earlier arrested by the Narayanguda police in a similar case, officials said.
