Priest Dies by Suicide in Srisailam

Kurnool: A 24-year-old priest, identified as M. Mahesh, from Adoni was found dead on Wednesday in the Lingayat Satram located in Srisailam. He is suspected have been died by suicide. Mahesh has served as a priest at a private temple under the Srisailam Devasthanam limits. Locals noticed him dead and informed the police, who found the youth's body in room number 13 of the



Lingayat Satram. 

Police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem after registering a case, said sub-inspector G. Lakshmana Rao. Officials suspect that Mahesh might have taken the extreme step due to financial burdens. The exact cause of the death is yet to be ascertained.
