Principal booked for harassing school teacher

Kushaiguda police have registered a criminal case against a private school principal for subjecting a woman colleague to harassment. The culprit has been identified as Anji Reddy, 29, principal of Krishnaveni Talent school in Kapra.

On Tuesday, the 27-yearold teacher, lodged a complaint with the police alleging that Anji Reddy was harassing her for the past few weeks. “The victim is married and has three children. Despite knowing that she is



married, the principal has been pestering her to marry him,“ Kushaiguda sub-inspector (SI) S Sudheer Krishna said.

Police said the culprit was reportedly frequently calling the victim and even sent her several text messages using objectionable language.Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, police registered a case against Anji Reddy under IPC sections 354-A (sexual harassment).The culprit went absconding.
