Rachakonda Police arrest 26-year-old Fraudster who was allegedly duping people

The Rachakonda Police arrested one person who was allegedly duping people on pretext of redeeming bonus points of credit cards of various banks. The arrested person Deepak Kumar (26) of West Sagarpur in South West Delhi called up the victims over phone posing as executive working in the credit card department of the banks.

“On the pretext of redeeming credit card points, he collected the CVV, OTPs and



credit card numbers from the victims and using the credentials, transferred the money from the accounts to other e-wallets/ bank accounts,” said the Rachakonda Police.

On a complaint the police booked a case and arrested him from Delhi while his associate Mukesh was absconding. The police advised citizens not to disclose their credit/debit card details, OTPs and PIN number to anyone and get duped.
