Sex worker alleges gang rape

Hyderabad, March 17,2015 (Agencies) Four persons have been taken into custody after a sex worker alleged that they gang- raped her at Manneguda village in Ranga Reddy district, police said on Monday. Police said the accused M Srinivas, E Bhimayya, Danayya and E Mallayya allegedly did not pay the 28-year-old woman for her services and she, in turn, lodged a complaint alleging gang-rape late on Sunday night. “Had they paid the money, I



would not have lodged such a complaint against them,” the police quoted the woman as saying.

 After the crime, the woman called up her acquaintance who helped in shifting her to a safe place, the police said. We have filed a case under Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA), a senior police official said, adding that the four accused would be produced before the court on Monday.
