Six year old girl allegedly molested by teacher in Hyderabad

A six-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a 17-year-old boy at Fateh Darwaza in Hussaini Alam here on Saturday. The incident came to light on Monday, after the victim’s mother approached the police and lodged a complaint.

According to the complainant, the teenager was teaching the victim Arabic at her house for the past four months.On Saturday, he came home as usual to teach her. While the victim’s mother was busy with her



household work, the victim and the boy were in another room, during which he is said to have molested her, said G Shyamsundar, Inspector Hussaini Alam.

The police who took the opinion of a legal expert later booked a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and have taken the suspect into custody. Sources said the victim was not subjected to a medical examination as her mother was reluctant.
