The Cyberabad police on Thursday arrested a 27-year-old man for sending abusive messages and offensive emails to his former employer and also for threatening her with dire consequences.
The police said the accused T Avinash Reddy of Amberpet, a technical trainer, was hired by a software manager for a Delhi-based training programme in December 2016. However, she asked him to discontinue due to his lack of skills and negative feedback, after duly reimbursing is travel and accommodation bills.
However, Avinash demanded money for the period he was sent to Delhi following which she asked him to come to office and settle the amount with her husband.After that, Avinash started sending abusive messages on Whatsapp to her husband and also began sending nude picks downloaded from the internet, police said.
The woman also started receiving offensive emails with abusive messages since January 25. Further, Avinash threatened to break the legs of her husband following which she lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime wing.
Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and arrested the accused. A laptop and mobile phone used to commit the offense were seized and the accused was sent to prison after producing before the court, the police said.Do you think Devendra Fadnavis will be next CM of Maharashtra?
