Teenage girl sexually assaulted by her classmates in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Five juveniles who allegedly sexually assaulted their girl schoolmate at Hayathnagar, were apprehended by the police on Tuesday.

According to the police, the juveniles had befriended the victim over a period of time and moved around with her after school hours. In August, when the family members of the girl were away they had gone to her house and sexually assaulted her. One of them filmed the act using his mobile phone and later threatened the victim against revealing it to anyone.

“Ten days later two juveniles went again to the house of the victim and sexually assaulted her and again



filmed the act. Afterwards, the video was shared among few teenagers,” said the Rachakonda police.

The victim informed about it to her parents who made a complaint with the Hayathnagar police. A case under 449, 376 DA r/w 34-IPC and Section 5 r/w 6, 9 (g), 10 r/w 11, (v) (vi), 14, 15 of

POCSO Act-2012 and Section 67A, 67B of I.T Act was booked and all the five apprehended.

The police said all the juveniles are studying in ninth and tenth standards in the same school. They were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board for further action.
