Telangana police prevents child marriage in Mahbubnagar

The Mahbubnagar police on Thursday rescued a class IX student who was forced to marry a 45-year-old person by her parents. Incidently, the victim's sister had married Ermal Nayak a decade ago but she died recently. Now, her parents wanted their younger daughter to



marry the brother-in- law.

On a tip off, the police stopped the marriage which was scheduled yesterday and saved the girl from the tragedy. The Police has not filed any cases against the girl's parents and Ermal but freed them after counselling.
