Telugu actor Venkata Prasad arrested in Hyderabad for cheating a woman

The Banjara Hills police on Thursday arrested Telugu actor Venkata Prasad, on charges of cheating and threatening a woman.

It is learned that Prasad who is the manager of Prasad's IMAX had sexually exploited a girl and when she asked him to marry he started avoiding her.



promising to marry her.

According to the victim, Prasad had made her pregnant twice and also reportedly forced her into abortion on both the occasions.

A case has been booked on charges of cheating and other relevant sections under the IPC and arrested Prasad.
