Thieves break into ATM in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Thieves broke into an Indicash Bank ATM and decamped with Rs 4.4 lakh at Manneguda in Adibatla here in the wee hours of Tuesday. Using a gas cutter, they damaged the cash vending machine and stole cash, police said.

The incident came to light when the customers noticed the damaged machine around 10 am on Tuesday and informed the bank



authorities.

According to the police, there were two vending machines in the ATM centre. The offenders damaged one of them and left the other untouched.

Based on a complaint from the bank, the Adibatla police booked a case and were examining footage from surveillance cameras to identify the offenders.
