Thieves stole 15 tolas gold in Venkatadri Express

An elderly couple has on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Kacheguda railway police stating that unidentified persons stole gold ornaments weighing 15 tolas from their bag while they were travelling on Venkatadri Express.

The incident



occurred when the couple Satyanarayana and Revathi from Amberpet were returning from Tirupati in the train.

The suspects could have stolen the ornaments from the bag when the couple was asleep, police said.
