Three persons held for stalking women in Hyderabad

The Mailardevpally police on Tuesday arrested three persons and booked them for harassing and stalking two women.

Police said the suspects, Zarar, Qamar and Sami, on their bike chased two women who were going in an autorickshaw from Mailardevpally to Abid Road.When the vehicle was about to reach Abid Road, the suspects stopped the vehicle and tried to misbehave



with the victims.

“When the auto driver came to their rescue, they threatened him. However, as the locals started gathering, the suspects ran away in fear that they would be beaten up,” police said.

Based on a complaint from the victims, police have registered a case and took up investigation.
