Two security supervisors working in a gated community recently stole a Volvo car worth Rs 30 lakh belonging to a businessman after finding the key in the parking lot. They kept the car at the house of one of the accused to sell it later, said Madhapur police.

On July 7, Mr Santosh Ravindra Kolli, 35, a businessman and resident of Aspire Towers lodged a complaint with the Madhapur police that he had forgotten



his car (TS 09 EP 1008) keys in the apartment and later car went missing from the parking lot.

Madhapur police said that during investigation, it was found that Mr Katiki Raja Shekar, 40, and Trilochan Samantray, 22, both security supervisors at the gated community, were involved in stealing the car. Police arrested the duo and recovered the car on Wednesday.
