Two teenagers held for raping minor girl in Warangal

Two teenagers were taken into police custody in Warangal on Monday on charges of raping their fiveyear-old cousin.

According to commissioner of police V Ravinder, a woman from Amaravathi Nagar in Hanamkonda lodged a complaint on Sunday against the two minor students, who are their relatives, alleging that her five-year-old daughter was raped by them.

confirmed rape. While one of the accused is a first year engineering student, the other is a student of polytechnic. They threatened the victim with dire consequences if she revealed their names.

The two were booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) and sent to a juvenile court. Later, they were sent to a correction centre.
