Two youths arrested with 15gm cocaine in Hyderabad

Two youngsters were arrested by excise sleuths close to Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital on Wednesday and 15gm of cocaine seized. Sleuths said the duo were planning to sell the contraband by posting advertisement on social media.

Excise officials said Koustav Biswas of Manikonda, and Syed Adil of Vivekanandapuram in Sainikpuri were arrested while their associate Irfan is absconding. Apart from cocaine, 80 gm of dry ganja and two mobile phones were



seized.

Biswas, a native of Kolkata, has been luring people to contact him for the drug. Biswas procures the narcotic substances from Irfan of Pune. Adil and Irfan have been friends since their college days, while Biswas came in contact with Irfan when they were working in an MNC. When Adil contacted Irfan to supply the drug, Adil was directed to meet Biswas. Excise officials nabbed them when the two met on Wednesday.
