US national held for sharing child pornography

The Cyber Crime wing of Crime Investigation Department (CID) has nabbed a US citizen for downloading and uploading child pornography.The 42-year-old James Kirk Jones, presently staying in Madhapur, was working with a law firm. A laptop containing 29,288 items containing child pornographic videos and images, 490 gigatribe profiles and 24 twitter handlers / profiles sharing child pornography, an external hard drive and an iPhone containing adult pornography were recovered from him.

Jones confessed that from his



childhood in USA, he developed the tendency to watch child pornography and has been downloading, watching and sharing such material ever since. Watching, downloading and sharing child pornography has become his daily habit, CID officials said adding that he was staying alone at his house in Madhapur. 

Jones was caught based on an Interpol input of an IP address from which child pornography was being shared. The IP address was traced to Jone’s residence in Madhapur, according to officials.
