Woman commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself, reportedly due to harassment from her husband in her residence at Aditya Nagar in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony here on Sunday night.

The woman, Vasundara (21), had a love marriage with Sanjeev in 2014, and according to the police, Sanjeev soon started harassing her both



physically and mentally. Unable to take further harassment, Vasundara committed suicide by hanging. She was found hanging by Sanjeev, who shifted her to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead. 

The KPHB police booked a case of dowry harassment and abetment of suicide against Sanjeev.
