Woman kidnapped and raped near Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A woman was allegedly raped by three persons who kidnapped her from near the Himayat Sagar on Wednesday night.

The victim was standing near the Police Academy when the three persons came in an autorickshaw and kidnapped her. They took her to a nearby isolated place and raped her. The suspects also snatched cash and other ornaments from her before



releasing her.

The victim approached the Rajendranagar police and lodged a complaint, after which a case was registered. The police have formed special teams to nab the suspects.

The police are checking CCTV camera footage to identify the auto-rickshaw and the suspects.
