Woman throws three children into canal in Nalgonda

Nalgonda:  A woman threw her three children into NSP left canal and later jumped into it in an obvious bid to end her life near Haliya village on Friday morning. The woman was saved from frowning, but her children drowned, police said.

The woman identified as Angothu Swathi is battling for life in a hospital. She is



stated to be the wife of a police constable. Her two daughters Satgwika and Mithuna Sri died while her son Bhagavath Kumar’s body is yet to be traced.

 

Her husband Angothu Mohan, works in Peddavoora Police Station in the district. Reasons for the murder and suicide attempt is not yet known.
