Hyderabad: The alleged differences among members of Sri Vasavi Intermediate College management over payment of examination fee to the Board of Intermediate Education took a toll on the careers of nearly 400 students.
According to students, the college management did not pay the fee to the Board of Intermediate for the intermediate public examinations, which are scheduled to start on Wednesday. As a result, the students were not issued hall tickets.
The Board filed a criminal case against the management for cheating students, A Ashok, Secretary of Board of Intermediate Education, said.
On Tuesday, anxious students thronged the college, demanding
hall tickets and complained to the Vanasthalipuram police. “Since morning we were at the college for the hall tickets. Nobody responded to our pleas. The Board has to give us hall tickets or cancel the examination,” said Manisha, a student.
Ashok said the college management did not pay examination fee to the Board. “Already environmental, ethics and human values, practical examinations were conducted. That time, no student or parent approached us. Now suddenly parents and students have to come to Board for hall tickets,” he said.
The students can appear for the supplementary examinations and clear both practical and theory papers at once, he said.
