Age is no bar when it comes to innovation. Three Class X students from Jaipur have just landed Rs 3 crore in funding for their startup, named Infusion Beverages.
Mrigank Gujjar, Chetanya Golechha and Utsav Jain, students of the Neerja Modi School, have spent almost a year working on their startup, which involves the manufacture of preservative-free, flavoured water.
Mrigank Gujjar said that the trio researched online in order to create their product.
We carried out intense research on Google to prepare a healthy drink without sugar and soda. But soon we realised that turning an idea into reality is not easy when you are a minor.
In fact, the three presented

their idea at an entrepreneurship fest at their school in April last year, but they failed to impress the judges and were eliminated in the first round.
By January 2017, however, they had sold 8,000 bottles of water - flavoured with kewer, rose and bel.
Later that month, the students landed an investor from Indore. The Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) offered to incubate their idea and helped them apply for a patent, ET reported.
Golechha said:
Our dreams are big and we have to start early to achieve them. I don't like people who sit idle till they complete their graduation or post-graduation. This early start will keep us ahead of everyone.
