The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination schedule. The agency has set up 176 centres for JEE and NEET in Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh where a total of 1,14,211 candidates will appear. As per reports, 41 examination centres have been set up for JEE mains in above four states in which 54,418 candidates will appear.

As per the scheduled released by NTA, the JEE Main exams are scheduled to be held between September 1 to September 6, 2020.

While five JEE mains examination centres have been set up in Chandigarh and Mohali



there are 16 centres in Haryana followed by 9 in Punjab and 11 in Himachal Pradesh. Further, 7263 students from Chandigarh, 24763 from Haryana, 13,995 from Punjab and 8,397 candidates will appear in Himachal Pradesh.

Accordingly, for NEET 2020 exam, 135 examination centres have been set up in the above four states in which 59,793 candidates will appear on September 13. Out of 135 centres, 32 have been set up in Chandigarh followed by 40 in Haryana, 28 in Punjab and 35 in Himachal Pradesh.

Out of a total 59,793 NEET candidates, 15,931 candidates will appear in Chandigarh followed by 16,298 in Haryana,16,300 in Punjab and 11264 in Himachal Pradesh.
