Over 2.22 lakh engineering and medical aspirants will appear for the engineering, agriculture and medical entrance test (Eamcet) scheduled to be held on May 12.
According to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) candidates can download their hall tickets for the entrance test till May 9. Over 70,000 hall tickets were downloaded by 6 pm, Tuesday .
The university has identified 246 examination centres for the engineering test to be conducted and 154 centres for the agriculture and medical test.As per instructions, candidates will be permitted into the examination hall an hour before the commencement of the test. Candidates will
not be permitted into the hall if they are late by even one minute.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the hall once the test begins. Candidates will be allowed to leave the hall only once the examination concludes. Candidates may use the toilet only before entering the exam hall.
Students will be allowed to carry only black or blue ball point pens. Carrying calculators, mathematical tools, log tables, pagers, cell phones, watches or any other electronic items have been prohibited inside the exam hall. Criminal action will be initiated against students found indulging in any sort of malpractice or impersonation.
