71,000 students clear D.Ed CET 2015

Hyderabad: Nearly 71,000 students have cleared the District Elementary Education CET 2015 out of 1.14 lakh appeared, results of which were released on Monday by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari.

Kadiyam said that counselling for admission into 260 DEd colleges would commence in September first



week. There are about 10 government D Ed colleges, about 216 private (non-minority) colleges and 42 minority private colleges besides eight Urdu medium colleges in the State. He said that in Telugu medium stream 69,792 candidates and 1,525 candidates in Urdu medium have cleared the test held on August 9.
