Hyderabad, March 25, 2015 : On Tuesday, the Telangana government stated recruitments will be conducted without any hurdles for about 85,000 government jobs. Nevertheless, a clear timeline was not provided by the government. The Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has already promised that all the recruitments would be completed within a year, said Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao.

But dissatisfied with the lack of sensitivity of the government towards the

issue, Opposition parties walked out of the Assembly on Tuesday.

When the issue was raised during the Question Hour on Tuesday, under pressure from the Opposition Finance Minister Etela Rajender conceded that 1,07,744 vacant posts are available from which about 15,000 posts are related to the Kamalanathan committee; about 85,000 posts are district, zonal, multi-zonal posts. Hence there is no hurdle for recruitments to the posts.
