Admissions and prospectus for a two-year diploma course in ‘Calligraphy and Graphics Design’ has been issued by the National Council for Promotion of Urdu language.
The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Department of Higher Education, Government of India was set up to ensure the growth and development of the language.
The
course is devised in order to meet the expanding needs of Urdu print publishing industries. Each batch will have a maximum intake of only 25 students and the last date for sending in applications is June 30.
Students between the age of 15 and 35 can apply for admission at the Calligraphy and Graphic Design Training Centre, Idara-e-Adabiyat-e-Urdu at Panjagutta before the deadline set for this month.
