Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has decided to conduct Open Book Exams for all final semester students studying in the university, according to the notice released on the institute’s official website. The open book exams will be conducted for all final year students who are pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in the university.
AMU took this decision following Delhi University’s move to opt for open book exams for all its
final year students, which only require minimal usage of internet. Internet will only be required by the students while downloading question papers and uploading answer sheets.
The official notice released by AMU reads, “To avoid a serious potential health crisis on campus, the final semester examinations for all UG and PG programmes along with arrears/ backlog courses of previous semesters will be held in Online, Open Book Examination mode.”
