All students of classes 10 and 11 to be promoted: Tamil Nadu CM

Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami announced the decision on Tuesday to cancel the Tamil Nadu 10th exams and even the Tamil Nadu 11th exams while promoting all the students to the next class.

The decision was finally taken by the CM after a lack of surety for over two months with the Covid-19 lockdown in



place.

Earlier, the Tamil Nadu 10th exam was supposed to be conducted from June 15.

The CM took the decision due to the rising coronavirus cases in the country and keeping student safety in priority decided to promote all students of classes 10 and 11 in the state due to the current pandemic situation in Chennai especially.
