Andhra CM releases Rs 680 cr to empower higher education under Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme of 9.3 lakh students

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again reinforced his commitment to education by disbursing Rs. 680 crore under the 'Jagananna Vidya Deevena - 100% fee reimbursement' scheme. This monumental step is set to benefit a staggering 9,32,235 students pursuing fields like engineering, medicine, polytechnic, and ITI.

The quarter spanning April to June 2023 has witnessed this transformative financial assistance, igniting hope and aspirations for students across Andhra Pradesh.

In a powerful address to the public in Nagari, Chittoor District, the CM emphasised the monumental strides the state government has taken in the realm of education over the past four years. Under the visionary leadership of YS

The Ammavodi financial assistance, providing an annual sum of Rs 15,000, is a testament to this commitment, encouraging children to pursue their studies unburdened by financial constraints.

The transformative impact of the government's initiatives is evident through multifaceted projects such as 'Jagannna Vidya Kanuka'. This annual endeavor ensures that students kickstart their academic year with essential supplies like bags, notebooks, uniforms, and shoes, setting the stage for a successful educational journey.
