Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday granted approval for the regular filling up of hundreds of existing teaching vacancies in universities and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs).
During a review by the Education Department, Reddy directed the appointment of 2,635 assistant professors, associate professors, and professor positions in universities, along with 600 similar positions in IIITs.
