A special mobile app has been introduced to monitor the regular attendance of the students in all schools in Andhra Pradesh. It will review the students' attendance which will then be accessed by teachers and parents.
Currently, parent or guardian information has been registered from 90% of the students.
Message alerts will be sent to parents or guardians on the attendance of their children on a
daily basis. These messages alert will also be sent to Grama/Ward volunteers on the absent students of their respective jurisdiction.
If the child is absent for more than two days, a volunteer will visit the household and ascertain the reasons.
There will be a monthly review of the students' attendance attended by the parents' committee along with Grama/Ward volunteers and education and Welfare Assistant.
