The government of Andhra Pradesh has recently announced that the summer vacations for all the schools in the state have been extended till June 30. This decision has been taken by the state government in view of the current Covid-19 situation in the state.
The summer vacations have been extended in Andhra Pradesh schools for the students of Classes 1 to 9. Though the schools in the state will remain closed during this time, it is
speculated that online classes will resume from June 12.
The summer vacations have been extended till June 30 but no final dates for the reopening of schools and resumption of physical classes have been issued by the Andhra government. The schools will only reopen once the Covid-19 situation is under control.
The dates for the reopening of schools will be communicated once the academic calendar for this year is prepared.
