Apple is all set for talent hunting in India. If sources are to be believed, International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H) college in Hyderabad students will get the first-hand opportunity to be placed with the smartphone giant, Apple.
The recruited ones will be placed at Apple`s facility in Hyderabad or Bengaluru. More than 300 students from varied streams like B.Tech and M.Tech have enrolled their name to participate in the placement session. The placement drive will begin in December.
The college has a record of placing its students with the top IT companies like Microsoft and Google. Last year it managed to place about 120 students out of 420, in the phase-1 of recruitment alone. More and more companies in look out of suitable professionals for
artificial intelligence, automation and deep learning are visiting the campus.
The companies will be holding technical interviews in which students who are well acquainted with Python (a computing language) will be preferred. Majority of them are offering jobs for product development and research and development profiles according to media sources.
The India page for Apple shows three job openings in India posted in November. One is for a Senior Engineering Operations Manager for Bengaluru office, second is Project manager for Gurgaon, Haryana and third is software manager for Apple online store, again for Bengaluru facility.
Apple started working with Taiwanese contract manufacturer Wistron Corp. to assemble the iPhone SE in Bengaluru.
