Army recruitment drive from Oct 15

Recruitment for soldier (general duty), clerk, community chef, chef special, hair dresser and ER in the territorial Army will be conducted from October 15 to 25 by the 125 Infantry Battalion (TA), ‘The Guards’, Tirumalagiri, a press release said.

The recruitment is being conducted for candidates from the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Goa, Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry. candidates who will be appearing for the recruitment rally at Secunderabad Centre and the last date for registration is October 7. 

Candidates should be between 18 and 42 years of age on the date of recruitment, height should be 160 centimetres, chest 77 centimetres with minimum expansion of 5 cms and weight 50 kgs and above. Education qualification for general duty soldier is Class X or equivalent pass with 45 per cent marks in aggregate and 33 per cent in each subject or pass/qualified in higher class i.e. Class 12.
