Army recruitment rally in Hanamkonda from May 21

Indian Army is conducting 11-day recruitment rally from May 21 to 31 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Hanamkonda to enrol candidates into the Army.A notification to recruit as many as 1,000 candidates has been released.

Aspiring candidates from 31 districts of Telangana under the Army Recruitment Office (ARO) Secunderabad can apply to attend the recruitment rally, said the ARO Director Colonel Pawan Puri.On Tuesday, he along with Warangal Urban District Joint Collector S Dayanand held a review meeting with district officials on the arrangements required for conducting the recruitment



rally.

Later addressing the press, he said the candidates will be recruited in six categories. The categories are - soldier (general duty), soldier (tradesman), soldier (technical), soldier (technical aviation & ammunition examiner), soldier (nursing assistant) and soldier (clerk/store keeper technical), Col Puri informed.

Candidates in the age group of 17 years and six months to 23 years can apply online by visiting www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from April 6 to May 5 and those completed SSC have to submit their certificates. Admit card will be issued online after May 9.
