Army Recruitment rally to begin from June 3

Hyderabad: The Army Recruitment rally under Unit Headquarters quota will be held at 1EME Centre, Secunderabad from June 3 for sons of war widows/ widows/ ex-servicemen/ servicemen and siblings (male) of servicemen/ ex-servicemen for the Agniveer technical category (fitter, electronics mechanic, electrician, mechanic motor vehicle/ mechanic diesel, mechanic refrigeration and air conditioner), Agniveer (tradesmen) category (steward) and an open category for outstanding sportsmen in the fields of swimming, diving and volleyball.

The educational qualification for Agniveer technical is 10+2/Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject, or 10+2/Intermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognised state education board or Central education board to include NIOS and ITI course of minimum one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above. OR 10th/Matric pass with 50% in aggregate and minimum 40% in English, Maths and Science with two years of technical training from ITI or two/three years diploma, in streams of fitter, electronics mechanic, electrician, mechanic motor vehicle/ mechanic diesel, mechanic



refrigeration and air conditioner.

The educational qualification for Agniveer Tradesmen (Steward) is a Class 10 pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored a minimum of 33% in each subject. OR 10th /Matric pass with ITI streams of catering & hospitality assistant/food & beverage service assistant.

All outstanding sportsmen candidates should have represented a state or country in national or International competitions either at the senior or junior level. The certificate should not be over two years old on the date of screening.

The age limit for the above categories is between 17½ years to 21 years. The date of birth should be between Oct 1, 2002 to Apr 1, 2006 for all the candidates (Calculated with the cutoff date as on Oct 1, 2023).
