Bihar CHO exam cancelled amidst paper leak allegations

In Bihar, the online Computer Based Test (CBT) organised for recruitment of Community Health Officers (CHO) for 4500 posts has been cancelled after widespread paper leaks and irregularities. Bihar State Health Society has informed the new dates of examination will be announced soon.

The examinations were held on Sunday and Monday at 12 examination centres in Patna. The economic Offence Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police had raided several examination centres



after getting a tipoff about mass-level irregularities in the examination process.

DIG of EOU, MS Dhillon said it has been found that examination processes were sabotaged with a proxy server, remote view application and some other illegal softwares. He said 37 accused including examinees,the examination centre head, IT manager and the coordinator of the examination centre have been arrested.
