Joint Entrance Exam, JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria is challenged in the Bombay High Court. The court will hear PIL on February 21. JEE Main 2023 information handout mentions students who qualify for admissions via JEE Main 2023 should have secured 75 percent marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the board exams. Aspirants have demanded to remove the 20 percentile criteria and lower the eligibility criteria to 50 percent. As per the update shared by Advocate Anubha Sahai, the Public Interest Litigation, PIL on JEE Main will be heard on February 21.
The matter is listed before the Bench of Chief Justice of Bombay High Court as item number 31.

JEE Main 2023 aspirants are demanding to lower the required Class 12th percentile to 50 per cent which currently is 75 per cent.
JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria were earlier revised by the National Testing Agency. As per the notice issued by NTA, candidates who qualify for admissions via the Main should have secured 75 percent marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the board exams.
JEE Mains 2023 is being conducted in two sessions- January and April. While the January session is concluded, registrations are ongoing for the JEE Main April session.
Students on social media are demanding another attempt for JEE Mains citing the board exam.
