The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced updates to the curriculum and content for several skill-based subjects, effective from the 2024-25 academic year. These revisions will be for subjects such as Web Application for Class 11, Information Technology for Class 10, and Artificial Intelligence for Classes 9 and 11.
According to the official notice released on the official website, CBSE has urged stakeholders to check the board's website for detailed information on these changes.
ABOUT NEW REVISIONS
1. Web Application, Class 11
The course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the course topics and equip learners with practical skills and knowledge relevant to networking, website development,
photo editing and programming.
2. Information Technology, Class 10
Students will be introduced to key concepts in digital documentation, digital spreadsheets, digital presentations, database management, and internet security.
3. Artificial Intelligence, Classes 9 and 11
This course focusses on building employability and vocational skills by integrating AI concepts with other educational subjects.
4. Web Developer & Graphic Designer, Class 12
Set to be introduced in the 2025-26 academic year, this course will cover emerging technologies, programming, graphic design, and cybersecurity, equipping students with practical skills and knowledge relevant to the industry.
