The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a special provision for students whose board exams fall on March 15, 2025, in regions where Holi celebrations extend into that day. While Holi will be celebrated on March 14 in most parts of India, some areas will observe it on March 15 or continue festivities.

To ensure students are not disadvantaged, CBSE has decided to offer an alternative exam date for those unable to appear on March 15.

Students who

find it difficult to take the exam on March 15 due to Holi celebrations can opt to skip the test on that day. CBSE will allow them to appear for a special exam later, alongside students who miss exams for national or international sports events.

According to the CBSE board exam timetable, the Class 12 Hindi Core (302) and Hindi Elective (002) exams are scheduled for March 15. While the Class 12 exams will continue until April 2, the Class 10 board exams will conclude by March 18.
