The Supreme Court on Friday gave its go-ahead to the Centre Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) assessment scheme to award marks to CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 students. The CBSE on Friday informed the court that the CBSE Board Result Exam 2020 would be declared by July 15.
The CBSE also laid out the rules based on which it will declare results. For Class 10 students, there would be no examinations and results will be declared based on the papers
they have appeared. This will be applicable to all those students of North East Delhi who missed their Board eams due to the anti-CAA violence.
The Supreme Court also accepted CBSE notification on the assessment of students. CBSE also laid out guidelines for how students will be awarded marks.
More than 12 lakh candidates appeared for CBSE Board Class 12 examination in 2020 while over 18 lakh students appeared for Class 10 exams.
