Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released an official notice to alert parents over the affiliation status of schools for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. The list of affiliated schools can be checked on cbseaff.nic.in.
After an inspection done by CBSE, it has been seen that there is a list of schools, claiming to have been affiliated under the Central Board of Secondary Education that are either under process or rejected. CBSE is saying that some schools have not even applied for the affiliation and in some cases, their application has been rejected.
According to the clause 14.2.2 of its affiliation, Bye-laws that schools those are not affiliated to
Central Board of Secondary Education are not allowed to represent for the CBSE Board examinations.
CBSE is alerting the parents who are willing to admit their children in the CBSE affiliated schools should check the affiliation status of that particular school before admitting their wards.

CBSE will however also be conducting the re-examination for all subjects and exams schedule till March 7, 2020, for any student who is unable to appear for the examination.
