Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for schools who want to apply or renew their affiliations with the board till June 30, 2020 in view of the coronavirus outbreak. This is the second time the board has extended the deadline of applying for affiliations due to the growing pandemic and the nationwide lockdown imposed for its



prevention.

CBSE made this announcement via a notice released on their official website cbse.nic.in.

The notice released by CBSE reads,” Keeping in view the current COVID-19 situation, the competent authority of the Board, after due consideration, has accorded approval for extension of online submission of application for all categories further till 30.06.2020."
