The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken strict action against 34 schools for not adhering to the terms and conditions laid out in its Affiliation Bye-Laws, 2018. A show cause notice has been issued to these schools, emphasising the importance of compliance with CBSE rules.

CBSE has cautioned



schools about unknowingly participating in sports events organised by the 'CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society (CBSE-WSO)' in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

The board clarified that this organisation has no affiliation with CBSE and warned schools against associating with it or participating in its sports competitions.
