CBSE schools must approve NIOS exams by July 31, 2024

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification directing its affiliated schools to provide consent for hosting the upcoming National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) exams scheduled for October-November 2024.

Schools affiliated with CBSE must log into the NIOS portal to provide their consent for conducting the public examination by July 31,



2024.

The notification states: "Your assistance will not only help NIOS in holding public examination of the candidates of the most disadvantaged group of society but also help CBSE in compliance with the directions of Ministry of Education, Govt, of India."

The NIOS public examination for secondary and senior secondary courses is anticipated to commence in the first week of October 2024.
