Staff Selection Commission (SSC), an attached office under
Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, recruits Group ‘B’
(Non-Gazetted) & Group ‘C’ (Non-Technical) posts in Central Ministries/Departments
and their Attached/Subordinate Offices. SSC has also been empowered to
recruit Group 'B' (Gazetted) in the pay Band 2, Rs. 9300-34800 and Grade Pay
Rs.4800/- posts of Assistant Accounts Officer and Assistant Audit Officer in
the Indian Audit and Accounts Department in the Office of the Comptroller and
Auditor General of India. SSC has advertised Notice for Combined
Graduate Level Examination, 2016 in the Employment News dated February 13 &
19 to recruit Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) post of Assistant Audit Officer in the
Indian Audit & Accounts Department as well as various Group ‘B’ & ‘C’
(Non-Gazetted) posts such as Assistant Section Officer in Central Secretariat
Service, Assistants in Armed Forces Headquarters/Ministry of Railways/Ministry
of External Affairs/Other Ministries, Income Tax Inspector, Inspector of
Central Excise, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector of Posts, Auditor,
Accountant/Junior Accountant, Tax Assistant. Tier-I examination of the
said recruitment is scheduled for May 8 &
22.

The last date for submission of
application has been extended to March
24 i.e. Part-I registration up to March 21 (5 PM) &
Part-II registration up to March
