Common entrance test for PG admissions will be held from the academic year 2019-20

A common entrance test for post-graduate admissions will be held from the academic year 2019-20. A decision in regard was taken during a review meeting held by Janardhan Reddy, Telangana secretary to government, higher education on Thursday.

According to a press release issued by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), the entrance test for admission into MA, MCom and MSc



shall be conducted by Osmania University. The OU vice-chancellor Prof S Ramachandram was appointed as the chairman of the test. The chairman is authorised to appoint the convenor of the exam.

The TSCHE constituted a committee consisting of six vice-chancellors of state universities to discuss further roadmap in conduct of the exam.
