While it is speculated that the final decision regarding the dates of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 will be announced soon, students across the country are urging the government to postpone the entrance exam further.
Students are asking the central government to defer the dates of the NEET-UG 2021 exam till October 2021 in view of the current Covid-19 situation. For now, the exam is scheduled to be conducted in August across the country.
After the central government confirmed that the Class 12 board exams would be conducted, the demands to postpone the medical
entrance exam increased on social media. Students have started posting using #postponeneetUG2021 to push the government.
Many students have been raising their voices against the conduction of the NEET-UG 2021 exam on Twitter, asking the central government and National Testing Agency to conduct the examination in October when the Covid-19 situation is under control.
Some students are also calling the central government to vaccinate all the candidates who are to appear for the NEET UG 2021 exam before its conduction to reduce the risk of contracting the disease while appearing at the examination centre.
