COVID-19 Threat: Schools and Educational institutions in Meghalaya to remain shut till April 30

Meghalaya Government has taken the decision to extend the closing of School and Education Institutes till April 30, 2020. It is to note that the nation-wide lockdown of 21 days that is imposed in the country is going to end on April 14, 2020. However, the Meghalaya Government has decided to close all school and colleges in the state till April 30, seeing the safety concerns amid Coronavirus Outbreak.

addition, it’s only after the lockdown period gets over in the country, schools and colleges will be opened after accessing the situation. Apart from this, many entrance examinations application dates are also extended and many competitive exams are postpone due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

However, the Meghalaya Government has decided to open the government offices in the state from April 15, 2020 onwards.
